Join us on the third Tuesday at 1pm in the Education Unit at church.

"Come and See-Come and Listen-Come and Read the Story"

The studies come from Gather, the magazine of Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, offering stories that inform, challenge, comfort, and encourage.

Women of the ELCAThis award-winning Bible study brings together women of all ages and ways of life to explore God's word. Regular columns on prayer, health, the church calendar, and useful resources supplement the Bible study and faith-in-action articles.

Reformation Journey

The_First_Paul_new

An evening book study, in the tradition of Martin Luther. This study is for men and women with inquiring minds. Probably the "edgiest" study we have it provides a safe place to share thoughts, evaluate books and writings. Usually the fourth Tuesday at 7:30 PM. Please check the church calendar for day and time.

We are beginning a new book study, The First Paul: Reclaiming the Radical Visionary Behind the Church's Conservative Icon  by Marcus Borg and John Dominic Crossan.

Paul is second only to Jesus as the most important person in the birth of Christianity, and yet he continues to be controversial, even among Christains. How, for example, could the letters of Paul be used both in inspire radical grace and to endorse systems of oppression. Borg and Crossan use the best of biblical and historical scholarship to explain and understand the reasons for Paul's mixed reputation.

The First Paul is available in most book stores. Buy and copy and join us at 7:30 PM on the fourth Tuesday of the month.

Men’s Breakfast & Bible Study

Third Saturday of every month, 7:30 AM at church.

In the true tradition of Martin Luther, this group meets to "chew over" Bible passages. This is a free flowing sharing of interpretation, understanding and questioning of scripture. All are welcome!
